Statement by the fans of FC Levadia to the events of the season opening match against Nõmme Kalju

We, the fans of FC Levadia would like to clear the air, and give his assessment of what happened on March 10 game against FC Nõmme Kalju Levadia Tallinn, which has given great public interest in a number of Estonian sports media and beyond.

In honor of the first match of the season our performance was a small paper with the logo of the club and cash checks. At the end of the match, for the sake of lifting the team spirit we have used the pyrotechnics, which is, according to EFS than that out of the ordinary. Note that the fireworks are still caused no harm, we used a pair of hand flares and strobe which is completely safe and do not have to put some character - or damage located in the stadium audience.

We were all competently done, our sector was at the right edge, where there were only our people, and no stranger. If not for the intervention of security firm Securitas , which is responsible for maintaining order at this event, fireworks have just burned down, and nothing would have happened. On the contrary, due to inappropriate actions of the guards, who clearly did not know how to behave in this situation, everything was different. The guards pulled out burning torch from the hands of our fans, what could cause a serious burn, and one of our fans has been to throw off the platform down, and received minor injuries, which of course does not count. The guards simply did not have the experience of action in this situation and did what they wanted. Also, we do not understand the idea of EFS FC Levadia impose a fine for the use of pyrotechnics to match Nõmme Kalju - FC Levadia (03/10/12). Was hosted by the team Nõmme Kalju, which should be held responsible for something that does not experience the guards allowed the fireworks at the stadium. We are an independent group of people who attend matches of your favorite football club in order to support it and create a wonderful atmosphere for all okolofutbolnoy present at the games FC Levadia.

Inadequate and not fully professional security guards were the actions that are clearly not able to work with the fans. On this occasion, outraged many visitors to the match, even our goalie Roman Smishko, unable to withstand such a harsh and inappropriate actions of protection came at the end of the match to our sector and expressed his outrage, "the representatives of law and order in the stadium." We would like to point out that fireworks is one of the main attributes of the football culture Ultras, which adheres to our fan club. In all the neighboring countries of Estonia: Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Russia - Pyrotechnics is a common phenomenon in the stadium, for which do not break your hands and do not take off from the third tier of the sector. Abroad in any fan club, is allotted a separate sector , where the order of the special people viewing of fan club, known as stewards, and protection in an aggressive manner at the fireworks did not respond.

We have repeatedly tried to make the legality of fireworks at the stadium, the club has been accessed, the appropriate city and municipal authorities. Have a round-table discussion with President EFS and other representatives of Estonian fan groups, but turned a blind eye to our requests. Certainly easier to prohibit and prescribe penalties, than try to go to a meeting and thus provide an incentive to active influx of fans to the games of the Estonian League of the Masters, but until the EFS will adhere to its obstinate position on stadiums, we will only listen to the pipes and the cries of the players , and this , loyal fans will continue to overlap oxygen.

Now on, abuse, and alleged hooting toward African-American football player Nõmme Kalju Yankuba Ziesse . We, the fans of FC Levadia are equally respectful to people of any nationality, race, and frustration on our part caused only extremely rough game the player relative to the players of our team . Football - emotional game and every spectator in a fit of passion may shout that - it is not decent. It may be that - and then was heard from our side. Accusations of racism feel absurd, and hyped media and EFS, which represent the beneficial use of pyrotechnics fans, hooligans. From his hand we wish Yankuba Ziesse a success.

Many of us are rooting for your favorite club since 2000, always to the extent possible, supporting the club and at home and away matches within the country and abroad. During this time, much has changed in the club, and the leadership and staff, and only we have always remained on the platform, despite all the restrictions and complexity, perpetrated by the club. But we were, are and will be rooting for in the sector of your favorite team, despite all the obstacles!

Pyrotechnics is not a crime , the stadium is not a prison, a fan not a criminal!

Oh lads, I am Levadia fan, who supports white-greens since 2008.
We have such fan group called White-Green-Supporters or WGS. We are around 20 active people to be honest, who tries to support FC Levadia Tallinn everywhere, but it is really hard to promote or make football interesting in here. Estonian Football Association is so rubbish, that on a standard football match of premier league, which is called Meistriliiga we have around 100-200 people :)

You can check our photos in here: FC Levadia Fans Photos

And yes we had a fight against FC Flora fans in year 2010. boxing:; We were better, 8)

Hey mate,

The pictures of you guys look very good. Not very big numbers but for example the pyro looks great. What about fines and stadium bans? Bad control or?

Hey, sorry for late reply. Some of our fans got ban for pyro on all Estonian Championship games, for couple of Years as I remember.

Pyro is not allowed and club is almost always getting a ban for about 100eur-200eur. Security is not well educated about that, almost got fire burns because of them. Last year, 2012, two of our guys could get a ban, if they would get caught by using pyro one more time, but they just didn't ;;pro

We will be glad to meet any Groundhopper fans on our games, just post a message here http://forum.fclt.eu/index.php or crazy_north@fclt.eu

gooner775, what do you mean by politics... We barely have politics in Estonia :DDDDD We are russian, right power  If this is what you asked. Not like St.Pauli fans.
