In Romania it is hard with the politics. For example before Steaua was bought by Gigi Becali, the club recieved $$ from the Army (MApN), but now this new owner invested lots and lots of $$ in the stadium and in the team. Dinamo and Rapid the other 2 big clubs in Bucharest still depend on the help of their political sponsors: Dinamo - Police (M.I), Rapid RailWays (M.T). In Romania there is no team that can say "This is our stadium! We build it we own it!" And for that it is very hard for any Team owner to invest $$ in the infrastructure of the stadiums. Here there are only 2 clubs that invested $$ in the stadiums, i mean big investments Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt and Steaua Bucharest. Ceahlaul raised a new stadium (with the help of the Citty Hall), but the owner of the club was also maior in that town ... so .. you get the point. At Steaua the owner said something like "I know it is not our stadium, but still i will invest so it would be the best in the country. FC Rapid`s stadium status is verry bad (half of it is closed due to the danger of collapseing with the fans) and the owner said if the Minstry of Transports (M.T) will not rent it to me i will not invest 1 dime.

Some of the club owners here want only to earn as much $$ as they can but they don`t want to invest anything. The ones that want to invest are not allowed due to the political decisions.

I know i deviated from the subject ... but the truth is it all depends on who has the political power, the ones that are in power will decide in secret witch clubs will recieve more help and those that will not recieve any help.
With this "Help" i ment $ for the budgets (teams from the capitol and from the rest of the country).

And they say that the comunism died in `89 ... lies all lies .... the police will beat up fans even if they are not guilty. For example at a derby game Dinamo Bucharest - Steaua Bucharest, Steaua fans during the game and mostly after the game were beat up so bad by the police that some of them needed months of medical care. During the game some of the fans were shoot with rubber bullets. After the game ... on the streats it was a massacre.... fans along with citizens(not fans, people comeing back from work, from a night out and so on), were crushd by the mounted police. The ones that sworn to protect us, they started hiting small children (10 - 15 year old), girls, grown ups( over 35 years), even old people that just came to see a derby. I can`t imagine a 60 year old man throwing seats, torches or other objecs at the police or on the field... as i said it was a massacre. And the police said "They started and we reacted with the same power." and they nobody did anything to them. They make their own rules. So i gladly say that I WOULD RATHER FIGHT WITH THE POLICE INSTEAD OF ANY OTHER FAN! In the end the only true proposition the suite the police is: "ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS!"
I said many things off topic. Sorry about that but i got carryed away.
Cel mai important lucru este ca Rapid exista.

first of all it must be said that most of the "politics" in football is limited to the use and abuse of symbols...
