Shoot out between football fans leaves one deadBELGRADE -- B92 has learned that a shooting in which a young man was killed on Saturday was a shoot out between two Partizan FC fan groups.
The incident happened on early Saturday. Ivan Perović was killed and another young man Đ.S. was seriously injured after he was shot in the leg.
Attackers shot at the two men from a moving car in New Belgrade around 07:00 CET on Saturday.
B92 has learned that the attacked men were members of Partizan fan group “Zabranjeni” (Banned) whose members are dissatisfied with the work of the Partizan FC leadership who banned them from the stadium.
Police believe that the attackers are members of the Alcatraz fan group.
A conflict between Zabranjeni and Alcatraz has been going on for a while.
Alcatraz members were convicted of French football fan Brice Taton’s murder in 2009 and some of the group members are accused of threatening B92 reporter Brankica Stanković.
