Breaking news !!! This is ,off course, Wien’s big derby. Austria’s fans prepared for it as every terrace should…big choreo and an even bigger pyro show.Rapid fans were at the game but as you well know they are still in protest mode.
Zurich’s derby had just about everything. A big corteo by Grasshoppers’ fans to start it all , a nice coreo and pyro made by FC Zurich fans and a big fight that stopped the match.
The fight started when Grasshoppers ultras displayed captured flags from Boys Zurich 1996 ultras group, the main group of FC Zurich. FC Zurich supporters reacted by trowing smoke bombs and flares inside their rivals sector…and it all escalated from there…
Grasshoppers fans continue in style their celebrations for their club’s upcoming 125th anniversary. All this takes place on away matches, as they continue to refrain themselves from any ultras activity on what is considered home matches ( actually played on rival’s FC Zurich stadium) .
