Honoring the Fanatics
2008-07-20 16:52:24

Although "You’ll never walk alone" is the anthem of Liverpool FC, it also applies to the Honvéd fans.
As everyone knows, our fans are following our team from and to all corners of the world.
In the past years, the fans from Kispest have followed the team to numerous European cities, including Genova, Manchester, Nimes, Wronki, Kisinyov, Hamburg, Enschede, Vilnius. European destinations have never been an issue and neither has Africa, since we had some fans who accompanied the team to the “Dark Continent”. As of Sunday our Ultras conquered another continent: Asia. As the team was warming up on Zsetiszu’s field, they looked up and surprisingly saw the team’s and the nation’s colors in Section 6 of the stadium. We saw four familiar faces behind the flags, which was a pleasant surprise, since no-one thought that fans will travel more than 5000 kilometers from Budapest to see their beloved team play in Taldikorgan. The four fans spent their own money, took time off and were quite tired following the team to this Kazakh city located near the Chinese border.
Having gone through the same experience, the team really appreciated the fans’ effort.
After coming back to win from a one goal deficit, this time it was the team that showed its appreciation to the fans by bowing in front of them and giving them a round of applause.

We all thank you for the cheers. It was awesome Boys!
